It’s mid-February and Renee has gone to her favorite local coffee shop to get a hot drink and try not to focus on her own loneliness. She has friends, but ever since she was left blind by a car accident a few years ago, romance has pretty well vanished from her life. Until today.
Dominic enters the café and introduces himself immediately. While she’s not exactly sure what to make of the stranger with the rich baritone and the spicy cologne, she relishes the company. Then she surprises herself by agreeing to let him walk her home. He seems to be quite a gentleman, but Renee can’t help but feel there’s more to him, just beneath the surface. As the blocks pass by, she wonders, how far can she take this? What happens when they get to her door?
About the Author:
Born and raised in Eastern Oregon, M.R. Wallace grew up loving art, especially drawing. Soon, his abilities with words far outweighed pictures, and he has been writing this and that ever since. An army veteran of six years, he’s been to Iraq and Afghanistan as a UH-60 Blackhawk mechanic and spent most of his enlistment stationed in Fort Drum, NY. Now he lives in the high desert of California and much prefers it. M.R. was first published in horror by Dark Chapter Press. His first erotic work, and certainly not his last, is currently available. He also writes sci-fi, fantasy, and thrillers.
